If you want to know how to vote in a progressive change of Government, here is the electorate by electorate guide on how to strategically vote. There are two votes. Party vote and Electorate vote.

Party Vote

Best choice: All party votes cast will ensure your vote goes to changing the Government.
  • Greens or Labour
Risky: These political parties haven't ruled out propping up National and/or unlikely to have a chance of getting political representation.
  • NZ First (risky because they are willing to form a government with either National or Labour)
  • The Opportunities Party, United Future, Māori, (risky because they are willing to form a government with either National or Labour and are unlikely to reach the 5% threshold to get into parliament)
  • Internet Party, Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party, MANA, Democrats for Social Credit, Ban1080, NZ Outdoors Party (risky because they are unlikely to reach the 5% threshold to get into parliament)

Electorate Candidate Vote

Vote for these candidates in your electorate for the best chance of a progressive change in Government.
